Krishi Vigyan Kendra (KVK) is a project supported by Indian Council of Agricultural Research (ICAR), New Delhi, Government of India. The project is being implemented by an Non Government Organisation named Agricultural Science Foundation since 1985. KVK is located in Hulkoti village of Gadag district in Karnataka State.  The mandate of KVK is to promote the transfer of technologies in agriculture and allied sectors through technology assessment and refinement, organizing vocational courses to create self employment for rural youths, organizing front line demonstrations to generate production data and to impart training to extension personnel of development departments.
